Experience Iceland in a Winter Wonderland
What’s On & What to Expect:
Day 1 – Welcome to Reykjavik
You’ll feel it the moment you step off the plane - the cool, clean air, the quiet hum of excitement. We’ll check into our stylish, centrally located, luxury 5 bedroom / 5 bathroom condo, drop our bags, and set out together to explore Laugavegur Street. Picture colorful facades, chic Nordic design shops, and the aroma of freshly baked pastries from the corner cafés.
As the sun dips behind snow-dusted rooftops, we’ll gather for our group welcome dinner. It’s the start of something special - a table filled with warm conversation, clinking glasses, and the promise of adventure.
Day 2 – The Golden Circle Southern Route & Friðheimar Greenhouse
Today, we step into Iceland’s wild heart. After boarding a luxury coach, the Golden Circle will unfold before us. With thundering waterfalls, steamy geysers, and the quiet majesty of Þingvellir National Park, you can stand between two continents.
Midday, we’ll slip into the warm glow of Friðheimar, a family-run greenhouse where vines heavy with tomatoes climb toward the ceiling. Over bowls of steaming tomato soup and crusty bread, we’ll share laughter and snapshots, savoring this uniquely Icelandic farm-to-table moment. Back in Reykjavik, the evening is yours - whether that’s a quiet drink with a friend, shopping for souvenirs, or simply watching the snow fall outside your window.
Day 3 – Reykjavik Culture & Foodie Adventure
Reykjavik will charm you today with its mix of tradition and modern creativity. We’ll visit iconic sights like Hallgrímskirkja Church, wander past whimsical street murals, and explore famous museums. An optional activity is FlyOver Iceland, think: Soarin' Iceland edition.
In the evening, we’ll dive into a guided foodie tour, sampling everything from comforting lamb soup to delicate seafood, and perhaps an adventurous bite or two. Each stop will reveal another layer of Iceland’s story, told through its flavors.
Day 4 – Sky Lagoon Bliss
& Northern Lights
We’ll fuel up at breakfast before making our way to Sky Lagoon, Iceland’s luxury geothermal spa. Imagine sinking into the warm, mineral-rich waters as the horizon stretches endlessly before you. Their sauna, steam, and cold plunge will leave you feeling alive in the purest sense.
That evening at the spa, we’ll (hopefully!) see the Northern Lights. While relaxing under a vast, star-splattered sky, you’ll be in awe as green ribbons ripple above. One of nature’s most magical performances and a bucket list experience.
Day 5: Farewell… or Keep Going!
All good things must come to an end, but not before one last breakfast together. Say farewell to your new friends (or better yet, start planning your next getaway together!) before heading out for your flight home. But wait - want to keep the adventure going?
